Puka Moeau

Actor

Puka Moeau is a 2025 graduate of Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School and the recipient of the 2025 FAME Emerging Practitioner Award. This award recognises exceptional talent, leadership and commitment to the craft, and is only awarded to one graduating practitioner each year.

Drawn to movement and physically expressive performance, Puka has developed a strong foundation across theatre and screen during his training. Credits since graduation include The Worm by Nightsong Productions, and the Auckland Arts Festival production of Marmite and Honey.

A hardworking performer, Puka brings a thoughtful and collaborative energy to the rehearsal room. He is committed to creating honest, engaging performances that connect with audiences, and is looking forward to building his career in the professional industry.
